After much deliberation Up George and Essakov Bonsmaras decided to put this exceptional proven herd sire LFR19-101, back on the market to add value to the Bonsmara genetic pool of SA. A bull bred by the successful LFR Bonsmara Stud(Leon Riekert). Not often do you find a proven herd sire of such excellence in conformation, breeding and genetic values. A bull with exceptional length and capacity, short on the leg, with incredible width in the hind quarter and over the back. The incredible combination of proven genetics in LFR19-101, is a great attraction and an accurate explanation to the pre-potency of this herd sire. His sire LFR15-074, one of the most correct and perfectly balanced bulls in the industry, who stems from LAR02-101 and LAR07-90 on his sire side (sires who breed notable females) LFR15-074’s dam LFR12-12, is a sister to the herd sire LFR15-32 who did exceptionally well in the Up George herd and sired the record price Bonsmara bull LAR19-373 in 2023. They share the same dam BEI07-40, who has just produced her 14th calf in the LFR Bonsmara herd. Lot 1’s dam LFR16-105, a picture-perfect daughter of HJL07-124, which makes Lot 1 line bred to HJL07-124. These are excellent proven bushveld lines. We at Up George have 2 young replacement sons of LFR19-101, who will continue his legacy in the herd. He is a prepotent sire breeding dark attractive offspring with exceptional width length and hind quarters. Equally as good male and female calves. LFR19-101 a highly recommended herd sire who can be used on myostatin negative heifers as well as cows, calving ease EBV 126 and an average of 31 kgs on his calves at Up George which were born in mid-summer. We look forward to seeing the impact of this top herd sire in the industry.
